Blog Journal #2 My experience using Microsoft Word as a student throughout my educational career has been positive for the most part. I believe it is a very efficient way to complete assignments and be able to revise them after given feedback by teachers or peers. I prefer Microsoft Word to other softwares such as Google Docs, however I do think that Google Docs is beneficial to use when completing group work. This is because it easily allows everyone to input their own opinions and edit the piece as a whole. In middle school and high school, I recall mainly using pen and paper to write essays, but that changed greatly once I got to college. I have written essentially every single essay/assignment on Microsoft Word in order to either submit through Canvas or print and bring in to class. Hi, my name is Sara Hirschfeld and I'm a senior here at FSU. I'm a fourth year psychology major and am also completing a minor in education. Something I've always been very interested in and may want to pursue a career in is school psychology, hence my major and minor choices. I was born and raised in Miami, Florida and have never lived anywhere else. I have always enjoyed south Florida and definitely see myself there after college. Before the pandemic hit in 2020, I had only had very base- level experience using technology in a school setting. In high school my teachers relied more on textbooks and scantron exams rather than online learning and test- taking. This has massively changed in the past year and a half due to school having to be completely online. Virtual class, advising, and group work have now become the norm. I prefer in person learning, but technology definitely made a lot of things possible that wouldn't have been without it. ...
