Blog Journal 9 This semester I have been taking EME2040 as an entirely online course. While I sometimes prefer having in person classes, I feel that this one can be effectively taught online. The weekly modules allow for structure in the sense that I always am aware of upcoming assignment deadlines. With the help of Canvas reminders, it is easy to stay on top of the responsibilities in this course. Also due to to the fact that this course focuses on gaining technology skills, it is fitting that it is taught online. The weekly overview videos take the place of in person announcements and help me prepare for the week ahead. Open educational resources, or OER, are free resources that are available for anyone to use in a multitude of ways, typically found online.
